Abstract:
Throughout the years, I have come to the idea that Mexico puts on masks that prevent the architecture from revealing Mexican authenticity. In this way the genius loci is neglected, causing the place itself to be unknown as the experience becomes something momentarily and easily forgotten.
Unmasking this thesis brings awareness to a place that has been
neglected, allowing the people to construct memories of their desires. By
providing a space that will allow the construction of reality, we can
discover our identity and remove the mask. The empty space can reflect authentic desires.
