Abstract:
This thesis focuses on the genre of the creative work, the screenplay Unfinished
Business, which begins as one thing but turns out to be something else. The aim of this
paper is to prove that this shift can be presented to the audience in a successful artistic
and entertaining way. Furthermore, the thesis problematizes the conventions of modern
genre theory to find a more workable general model for future reference.
