"This thesis includes an original screenplay entitled 'Welcome the Morning Sun,' a love story
set in the island of Barbados. Violet is a frustrated, married, middle aged woman, who finds a
new lease on life when she is reunited with her first love, more than forty years later. The film is
a romantic drama and illustrates themes of second chances, love eternal and unrequited love."
