"This thesis explores white nationalist ideology when challenged with DNA test results revealing
diversity in ethnic ancestry, and how 23andme.com can further challenge racist ideology and
drive individuals away from hate groups. Understanding tribalism and its context within
contemporary culture in the United States and how one can fall into a thought process aligning
with white nationalist principles. The paper seeks to find how 23andme.com can engage white
nationalists and steer them away from racist thinking through their experiential product."
