Abstract:
"This thesis recounts the creative process used for my performance of Rosalind in a reimagined production of William Shakespeare's 'As You Like It.' I will present the techniques that best aided my work as an actor, including traditional textual analysis, and a mixture of the methodologies of John Barton, Uta Hagen, and Patsy Rodenburg, including Rodenburg's theory of the Second Circle." --Abstract
