Abstract:
|
"In a world where large corporations have full attention, SMEs are companies that despite their size, are the vast majority of the economy of Emerging Economies like Colombia (DePersio, 2015). Despite of their lack of knowledge, interest or not being aware on how creative disciplines can help to them to build strategies and implement a culture of innovation, SMEs can adopt innovation processes faster thanks to their smaller structure, (Villalobos, 2018), management and less use of resources (Afriyie et al., 2019) than large companies. The purpose of this study is to understand how Design and Design Management knowledge can help to lead Colombian SMEs in the culture of innovation, by overview and understand the elements that affect them externally and internally. Design solutions are going to be suggested to provide an answer on how design can be implemented enabling the culture of innovation allowing business success and growth." --Abstract
