"This thesis will explore the concept of using sound effects to smooth scene changes using sound pre-lap, post-lap, overlap and mixing techniques. This thesis will also explore using sound effects as a function of emotional motivation. Two SCAD thesis film projects will be analyzed, by sound effect design aspect. Additionally, this thesis will focus on the post-production sound design process and refer to theories from sound design reading materials." --Abstract
