Abstract:
"May 2021, this thesis attempts to re-examine the treatment of veterans with PTSD. We try to encompass three elements Mental health, recreation, and community involvement. It is through my and other's experience that these three elements are crucial to veteran's care. The VA Medical Healthcare has improved since many soldiers have returned from Hostile environments. VA hospitals have become specialized for brain injury, spinal cord injury, PTSD, and many other medical injuries. We are engaged in advanced medical systems and hospital design. The shift to health care improvements has been dramatic in some demographics. VA Hospital design and program can improve by implementing in several areas. What are the sit gaps in the need for infrastructure? Develop prototypes based on intuitive thought. Interior spaces are pivotal in Whole Person Health. Site landscape has to engage users with outdoor areas for social gatherings—the user's choice to roam and engage with the landscape. Expand services for Whole Person Health and make it accessible and expand services." --Abstract
