Abstract:
"Despite frequent public conversations around gender and sexuality in the mass media, many research studies still ignore LGBTQ+ youth as a population worth studying. Thus, this thesis intends to focus on LGBTQ+ youth to propose creative and inclusive design solutions through the concept of 'Non-binary interior design,' and determine how to link the research conclusions with the interior space to provide better spatial experiences for the LGBTQ+ community. Also, Link with design theories of Maslow's hierarchy of needs, gender theory, Inclusive design theory, color theory, biophilia, and so on, to promote social communication and inclusivity by forging a cohesive design language a place to signify inclusion." --Abstract
