Abstract:
|
"Webcomic, becoming well-known in this digital age, is a form of comic that came into being in response to the development of mobile platforms. As webcomics are more in line with the changing reading needs of today's fast-paced life, major webcomic platforms have emerged and a large number of webcomics have flooded the market. Many comic artists have recognized the opportunities of this new form of comics and have begun to devote themselves to the creation of webcomics. The webcomic, born from the comic strip, has both advantages and disadvantages compared to traditional comics. This thesis analyses the strengths and weaknesses of some of the popular Webtoon style webcomics to help creators better understand and create webcomics." --Abstract
