Abstract:
"'[Non]Disclosure' addresses issues of internal identity struggles which are faced by my
people from all walks of life. Social norms and stigmas dictate who we should be or how
we should behave, creating barriers, not togetherness. These barriers need to be broken
down if we want to live freely and openly in the world. Here, I use the visual medium of
photography to represent internal struggles in a physical form. By working in the
directorial mode, the intimate yet sometimes detached photographs ask the viewer to look
at the raw truths of emotional entrapment."
