This thesis will examine the nature of power as a commodity through the narrative of A Gathering of Storms. The thesis promotes the pilot’s strongest traits by comparing it to the following five television series: Peaky Blinders, Game of Thrones, True Detective: Season 1, The Nevers, and Shadow and Bone.
