Abstract:
"The grooming tool in Houdini is relatively new compared to other software. Like other grooming software, Houdini also uses maps to control hair behavior. However, exporting texture workflow from point attribute is not intuitive. Artists need to work with extremely dense polygon objects for painting a high-resolution map. This slows the hair simulation process. This project aims to create a tool that can solve the issue of painting attributes and generating hair on high-density polygon objects, as well as improving the controls for organizing, formatting and, sizing exported textures with an artist friendly interface." --Abstract
