Abstract:
“Clothing breathes life into a character. It can establish the personality, profession, and location, or even the wants, needs, and desires of the character, without them even saying a word. As a costume designer, in this thesis, I will be exploring the principal character from V.E. Schwab’s, The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue, and how she uses clothing to get what she needs from the world that has forgotten her.” –Abstract
