Abstract:
“Volcanology, one of the most splendid geological phenomena, is an important part for supplemental geography education. Volcanos, especially active volcanos, are rare and dangerous, so most students never have a chance to witness a real eruption, nor see the interior structure of a real volcano. Thus, presentation videos are the most common multimedia resource for students to learn about volcanos. Currently, many volcano visualization videos use a 2D motion graphic style. However, these 2D videos about volcanos usually lack visual appeal. To address this opportunity, a video with three volcano scenes through 3D visual effects simulation will be generated to create a more engaging and accurate volcano visualization for education.” –Abstract
