Abstract:
“This thesis explores the positive effects of illustrations that have a consistent style and follow trends appropriately to build a brand image in consumers' minds. It analyzes how illustrations determine color and composition based on consumer psychology, and to create an emotional connection with consumers based on cultural connotations. The advantages of using illustration to build brand image are mainly shown in posters, packaging, and social media, all of which use illustration in different ways to maximize the brand and product message. In the end, the case study analysis of Nestle and Nabisco further demonstrates that Illustration has become one of the main methods to enhance brand value and cognition.” – Abstract
