Abstract:
“This thesis explores the transformative power of scenic design in a stage play emphasizing farce and the interplay between order and chaos. Incorporating elements of brutalism and abstract expressionism, the design creates a dynamic environment reflecting the absurdity of the play. Through a synthesis of scenic design, architecture, and artistic movements, this research presents a fresh perspective on Peter Shaffer’s “Black Comedy,” engaging the audience in a visually immersive and comedic journey.” –Abstract
