Abstract:
"This thesis documents my rehearsal process and performance in the role of Marianne in Nick Payne's play, 'Constellations.' During this process I aimed to utilize Sanford Meisner's techniques of repetition and emotional preparation. These methods allowed me to achieve an honest and grounded connection with my scene partners. I will recount my journey of discovery from the first concept meeting to the production's final performance, and I will detail the success of these methodologies and how I would utilize them in the future." --Abstract
