Abstract:
"This paper focuses on the subjective well-being of individuals in Chinese cities undergoing urban development who seek better educational and employment opportunities in the main cities in China. Through qualitative and quantitative research, this study investigates their community needs and expectations. By considering their life trajectories, behavioral patterns, and cultural backgrounds, this research explores potential improvements for their destination cities. This involves revitalizing the community center for urban villages and emphasizing regional cultural characteristics within the context of China's socio-historical development and society. The goal is to establish a strong connection between people and their surroundings, utilizing public spaces to help individuals find a sense of belonging in unfamiliar cities and enhance their overall quality of life." --Abstract
