Abstract:
"Fraud-themed films usually tell the story of how con artists or fraud groups target specific victims with their schemes. These films often revolve around the schemes and cons used by the criminals to dupe their victims, and the psychological motivations behind the criminal's actions. Most of the main characters in fraud-themed movies often possess an extremely high criminal IQ and a silver-tongued communication skills. Indeed, the criminal psychology and behavior of these criminals can gradually lure the attention of the audience. However, most of the audience are often familiar with these clichéd plots and twists, and some people can even guess how the next plot development will be. Therefore, the criminal psychology of a naive and introverted fraudster can steer the movie's plot towards a completely different development and outcome. Similarly, he can also induce entirely different attitudes and reactions from the audience while they watch the movie." --Abstract
