Abstract:
“There is a huge difference in bathing culture in China between the North and the South. Due to the rich educational resources in the North, many students growing up in the South come to the North to study. At the same time, the southern students who need more privacy cannot adapt to the student bathhouses which mostly have only one open bathing area in the northern colleges. This real-life issue is so relevant that it has become a frequently discussed social issue. Through this study, the author explores interior design strategies to allow southern students to feel in control of their privacy and enhance their bathing experience in college public bathhouses through interior design methods. At the same time, the author researches and rethinks the single functional attributes of college public bathhouses to give them more vitality.” –Abstract
