Abstract:
"The thesis discusses how Interactive Design can connect the Queue to a Location-based VR Simulator, with designing an experimenting Queue for the concept attraction of Utgard Castle, a multi-player VR simulator game theming 'Attack on Titan'. It starts with the research on existing queue lines in different attractions, some successful interactions and supportive technology, then steps into the user experience via three user tests proving the final design. Lastly, it concludes the methods of building efficient queue experience to better introduce an interactive XR attraction to theme parks." --Abstract Keywords: queue design, interactive design, themed entertainment design, XR attraction, location-based VR game, user Test, 'Attack on Titan'
