Abstract:
"The purpose of the project is to show the possibility of the story 'Borrowing Arrows with Thatched Boats' being visualized by an individual artist. The story is a classic Chinese tale from the era of the Three Kingdoms period in Chinese history. It follows the military strategist Zhuge Liang, who, facing a shortage of arrows, tricks the enemy into shooting them at straw figures on boats. He then collects the arrows, gaining a tactical advantage. The story showcases Zhuge Liang's cunning and strategic prowess. The story's rich imagery and strategic warfare provided a fertile ground for visual interpretation, presenting both challenges and opportunities for adaptation." --Abstract Keywords: history, war scene, workflow, CG representation, inspiration
