Abstract:

This thesis is a responsive critique of the profession blurring the facets of human behaviors, temptation, and individualism evoking a human awareness to architecture. Through the medium of vandalism existing space will be manipulated when found to be inappropriate to it’s context. The argument is that the social veneer of everyday life is manipulated through our physical environment and that the psychological effects of space define human instinct and temptation. This proposal focuses on a site specific approach. By authoring a space more appropriate to it’s location and inhabitants, it brings attention to society’s lack of acknowledgement of their local architectural context.
