Abstract:
This thesis focuses on the design process of visually translating Naomi Iizuka’s play, Anon(ymous), into a film set for a cinematic adaptation of a theatrical play. Through formal analysis of Iizuka’s script, visual research, and conceptual analysis, I reveal my processes and justifications for my final aesthetic decisions and designs, as well as a final self-critique of my overall success with my final designs.
