A dioramic art work consisting of 4 hand cut and hand painted interconnected paper frames with red tendrils through which two hands reach toward each other. It can be viewed as a tunnel book inside a specially constructed black display box with custom lighting that accents different parts of the art work, depending on the placement of the book in the box. Inside the Heart was included in Slash, Paper Under The Knife at the Museum of Arts & Design in New York City, and in the book Masters: Book Arts: Major Works by Leading Artists. Inside the Heart creates a visual space and invites the viewer to supply a narrative.
